Tech Free Coding Programme for Toddlers – Term 1

You don’t need technology to develop your kids’ coding skills. No worries about unnecessary screen time. We present: Tech free coding for toddlers!

Our tech free coding program spans 40 weeks and is offered in 10 modules over 4 terms. There is one activity for each day.

Modules covered throughout the year include:

Module 1: Introduction to coding concepts
Module 2: Directions and spatial concepts
Module 3: Algorithmic thinking
Module 4: Troubleshooting and Debugging
Module 5: Storytelling and coding
Module 6: Puzzles and games
Module 7: Creative coding projects
Module 8: Shapes, colors and patterns
Module 9: Introduction to Numbers and Tel
Module 10: Review

Term 1 covers Modules 1-3.

Module 1: Introduction to coding concepts
Week 1-2: Sequencing
Week 3-4: Sorting & patterns

Module 2: Directions and spatial concepts
Week 5-6: Teach directional coding concepts (left, right, up, down)
Week 7-8: Spatial awareness and shapes

Module 3: Algorithmic thinking
Week 9-10: Algorithms and instructions
